I am a clinical psychologist and author based in New York State

I received my B.F.A in playwriting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and my M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The New School for Social Research. My internship training was completed at Columbia University Medical Center.

My private psychotherapy practice is based in Sleepy Hollow, NY, where I see adolescents and adults online and in person. I also offer consultation and supervision to other mental health professionals, give talks and workshops at healthcare and educational institutions, and advise private companies.

In addition to my private practice, I am an associate professor of psychology at Fordham University and director of the Fordham Community Mental Health Clinic. I serve on the boards of the Austen Riggs Center and the Westchester County Psychological Association, and on the editorial board of the journal Psychoanalytic Psychology.

My writing has appeared in Psyche, Salon, and Logic, and various academic publications. I am the author of The Gaming Mind (2020) and Borderline (2024).
